TriVex System
Another vein treatment option that is offered at the Vein Care Pavilion of the South is the Transilluminated Powered Phlebectomy otherwise called TriVex. This procedure is a minimally invasive vein removal treatment. Our vein surgeons perform TriVex in an out patient operating room under general anesthesia. TriVex is not always needed but is offered as another solution to completely rid a patient of varying sizes of veins.

Simply put, the TriVex System is a reliable, minimally invasive approach to superficial vein excision.

Transilluminated powered phlebectomy is a technique that brings visualization to varicose vein removal. The TriVex system allows the Vein Guys to accurately target the vein using an irrigated illuminator, quickly ablate it using a powered resector and visually confirm the vein's removal.

The straightforward technique offered by using TriVex system allows for patients to achieve the desired results with less pain, reduced incisions by up to 50 to 60%, and improved cosmesis compared to hook Phlebectomy. For the Vein Guys, the TriVex system offers a straightforward technique.
